I like you - seriously... I was probably one of the few people that stood up for you during the Christmas holidays when you almost didn't let me make it back to Chicago. I moved to the north for a reason, snow, seasons, wearing hats and scarves... But now I need to make a request... Can you stop teasing me with warm temperatures over the weekend and then dropping 20+ degrees overnight? I had just started to enjoy the lack of ice and snow on the ground and then you started up with the snow again this morning... leaving me to fend for myself on icy sidewalks once again...
I understand that I probably have at least 2 months left of the cold... I have accepted this, but I had just hung up my down coat and now you are threatening to drop once again into the teens this week. I just don't think I'm ready for it.
My request is this - please play nice for the rest of your season, and don't let me get my hopes up that it's almost over..Thanks!
